Facebook tales (Inspired by Iceland)

El Mys built a Facebook app for people to share inspirational stories, photos and videos about Iceland. Our application was part of a wider campaign by the Icelandic government to promote tourism, and was launched to coincide with ‘Iceland Hour’.

Love social buzz?

Virgin Media wanted a site that could capture the social media buzz surrounding their TV shows, starting with Britain’s Next Top Model. Our application searches for posts about the programme on Twitter and Facebook, then collates them into a single live stream. Virgin can curate the search, adding in new terms as the series progresses.

Nexus Productions

If you were wondering why we haven’t posted for a while, it’s because we’ve been busy working on a new website for Nexus Productions. Their work includes an Oscar nominated short, Grammy nominated and MTV Award winning music videos, and Cannes Grand Prix, Gold Lions, and Black D&AD pencil winning commercials.

The new site features drag and drop playlists, a client extranet and customisable showreels that are replacing hard copy DVD reels.

We also provided the organisation with a customised CMS. The project went live this month!
